Our skin is a constant outpouring of chemicals everyday from pollution that strip the skin of its natural balance. If the skin is not properly cared and ignored then it suffers from premature aging and becomes dull and blemished. Here give some simple Ayurvedic home remedies, which help you to give a clear, healthy and glowing complexion.
There are some suggestions to keep your skin looking beautiful in a natural way for a longer period without any side effects of the chemicals:
- Drink lot of water through the day, it helps flush toxins out of the body and keep skin looking clear and glossy.
- Eat lot of fruits, vegetables and herbs, which supply the skin with essential nutrients and help to keep your skin cool. Carrots, Cucumber and green leafy vegetable are good choices. Sweet juicy fruits such as pears, grapes, watermelon and mangoes both nourish our skin faces and protect the skin of chemicals everyday from pollutions.
- Milk is a important for skin that supplies nutrients to your skin and helps to keep it from drying out. Drink a cup of milk every day, and also mix milk with ingredients like almond and rose water to make a skin cleanser.
- Mix equal quantities of cucumber juice, rose water and lime juice. Wash the face and apply it overnight. Rinse off in the morning , it gives you a clear complexion and keeps it healthy.
- Take 50 ml. of unboiled milk and mix a pinch of salt and two teaspoon of lime juice in it. Apply this to the face as a cleansing lotion, it helps to clean the deep pores of skin.
- Take 50 ml. of tomato juice and mix with one teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply this mixture to the face, it helps to make the skin soft and glowing.
- Mix equal quantities of lime juice, glycerin and rose water. This lotion applied to the face regularly at bed time, it is very helpful in removing pimples, blackheads and other stains of the skin. It makes the skin soft, and can also be applied to other parts of the body (hands, feet etc.)
- Eyes and feet should be given extra care everyday. Splash lots of cool water on your eyes. Soak some cotton pads in cool water or rose water and place them over closed eyes for 10 minutes.
- Use some fruit or vegetable and blend with some yogurt, honey, oatmeal and lemon juice or rosewater and apply to the face for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off with warm water, it helps to give you a clear and glowing skin.
